Joining

-

A song that paints in white
to dispel an all pervading gloom
We sing for a love rediscovered
A new life from hopeless doom

Those old unforgettable strains
The Muse to my nostalgic heart
A familiar ode, of who else but yours
Bridges what has been rent apart

The gaily vivid yellow blossoms
Lingering with a fragrance of yore
Now springs alive a dead spirit
Refreshed, to the skies does it soar

Like rivulets snaking mountains
to lose themselves in the river
Once we are one soul, one sea
What is then You, what is Me
