Advaita - There is only One and Thou art That. This world is an appearance, just like an image in the mirror.
There is one Brahman - Saguna and Nirguna; Saguna with Maya and Nirguna without.
There is nothing to fear nor hate, no desires to be deluded by.
To have compassion for all, hatred for none. To see all this world as oneself and act for duty's sake and for nothing called "I"
It doesn't matter if all of this is true
What matters is that it's good for you
To believe it to be true
These concepts may be transcendent (paroksa) now
But start today to make it direct experience (aparoksa) for you
This is the eternal divine war of the good (deva) and bad (asura) within none but you
Every time the bad won, the subtle deviant tendencies (vasanas) grew
And over lifetimes they became entrenched inside you (samskaras)
Causing birth and death and then birth again and again
This war has been going on for ages
The only way to stop is
To believe it to be true
There is but One that exists
That One is the world, that One is you too
